Tucked inside the GND Building along F. Cabahug Street, this casual spot draws in a steady mix of locals and visitors looking for hearty Filipino fare, particularly those who enjoy a comforting bowl of pochero. The atmosphere feels familiar and a bit unpretentious, with a simple, unchanged upstairs area that adds to its lived-in charm rather than polished modernity.
The menu leans toward traditional flavors and satisfying dishes that appeal to groups, solo diners, and even families with kids. People often come for late-night meals after a night out, appreciating the relaxed vibe and the wide range of small plates and drinks available. The seating options—indoor and outdoor—make it easy to settle in whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or lingering over dinner.
Service is friendly and straightforward, with a welcoming attitude from the owners and staff that makes the experience feel grounded. It’s not the place for fancy cards since they prefer cash, but many find the genuine hospitality and solid flavors make up for it. The presence of free parking and acceptance of reservations adds convenience for those coming from around the city.

4 5 stars for the food because my favorite pochero in Cebu is here and it's one of the best places to eat after a night out. I've been eating here for more than 10 years siguro pero they never accepted card payments so that's minus 1 for service. Also 4 stars for atmosphere kay I don't think they have had a major renovation with their place sa taas - murag ang taas has always been the same. Although, their staff have always been accommodating and attentive to our needs.
5 This was amazing ! I have came here several times and the quality is always perfect. If your looking for a quick and savory meal, come to this place! There is many options of drinks and food!
5 Great food and good people. We met the owners and are good host. Nothing left on our table.
5 Kusina Uno in Cebu serves the best sizzling bulalo, perfect after a night out. Their service has improved, making it a great spot for late-night cravings. The tender beef and flavorful broth make it a must-try dish in the city.
5 Kusina Clasica used to be Kusina Uno is always our go to place for Pochero in Cebu. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 They are located in GND Arcade Bldg., F. Cabahug St. Open 7:00am to 11:00pm daily. How do you like your pochero? Us, we want the meat tender with a refreshing thick soup. Other dishes are also available. Sizzling pochero, chicharon bulaklak, kinilaw, and whole native fried chicken are just some of our recommendations. Parking
5 If you're like me, embarking on a never ending quest for a nostalgic gastronomic journey, this place which serves classic Cebuano dishes, as its name implies, is a must try. Recognized by Sunstar as best pochero in Cebu for 2020 and 2021, their star dish is served in a humongous bowl, the meaty whole beef shank itself is huge and can feed 4-5 people. Equally popular dish is the sizzling pochero which is just as huge. I sampled their chicharon bulaklak and deep fried intestines. Both were tender and crispy and not rubbery at all. This s a dining experience I would recommend to my family and friends. It's the home of Cebu's best pochero.
4 Just trying to visit this place again since 6 years ago to check how things are going. Lucky to be the only customer (not really lucky for them) and they have served the order immediately as i ordered. Soup still warm and served generously (without looking at the price). Its still the same heart warming (heart stopping too ) pochero as i remembered years ago. What makes it sad after all these years is that they are still cash only. Good thing i brought cash.
4 Kusina Uno has established a long standing reputation of having good food. Long term patrons can always expect the same taste everytime they order which really speaks a lot on their consistency. Service can definitely improve but is expected since it’s not a high-end restaurant. Overall ambiance of the place also has a lot of room for improvement especially the smell - the place sometimes smell of grease from the kitchen.
Many guests come for their famous pochero, sizzling bulalo, and native fried chicken, all known for rich flavors and tender meat.
It works well for both quick bites and relaxed dinners, offering table service in a casual, trendy setting.
They open early morning until late at night, making it a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or late-night cravings.
Yes, the place is casual and spacious enough for groups and families, with kid-friendly options available.
Currently, they do not accept card payments, but free parking is available on-site for customers.
